Why Gilbert exists.
Gilbert was born in late 2024 in Laval, in western France, out of three engineers: Mathis Escriva, president, Martial Roberge, managing director, and Hugo Fouan, chief technology officer. The observation was simple: most of what commits an organisation is said out loud, in meetings, in committees, in one-to-ones, and then evaporates into scattered notes. And the tools that promised to capture it were sending those conversations outside Europe. Gilbert captures your meetings, remote and in person, with no bot, and turns them into write-ups faithful to the way people actually speak. Everything stays in France, on a SecNumCloud-certified cloud. An approach selected by the French government’s public-sector AI programme. The team, four people, works from the Technopole in Laval.
What we believe.
The most valuable work an organisation does happens in its conversations. Our conviction: that spoken knowledge deserves to be captured, structured and built upon, without ever leaving France or passing under eyes that have no business seeing it. That is why we control the whole chain: our own French transcription models, built with the Intelligence Lab at ECE Paris and published at IEEE BigData 2025, the infrastructure and the hosting. And because our customers are hospitals, local authorities and federations, we spent eighteen months alongside their executive teams, IT directors and data protection officers: their reality is what shaped Gilbert.

Where we are going.
The write-up is only the starting point. With “Ask Gilbert”, you query your organisation’s memory in plain language: what was decided, when, by whom, with the sources to back it up. For the most sensitive organisations, Autonomous mode installs Gilbert directly inside your information system, in a matter of days. Our direction comes down to four commitments: secure your data, capitalise on your spoken knowledge, and keep advancing both the explainability of AI models and their energy frugality.

“A write-up used to take up to an hour. With Gilbert it takes a few seconds. Yes, that is the word. A revolution.”
